There’s nothing new about dusky blue, it’s just moved out of the nursery zone and into the rest of our homes with a stylish bang. When I read that this was the new hue for 2018, I was a little smug as 3 months ago I just had to paint our wardrobes in Barbados blue, (see here) and nothing could stop me!
WHY DUSKY BLUE IS DREAMY
The blue hue is dusky and dreamy and if you’ve loved and still love pink velvet, (always) then you’ll be crushing on this colour too. Bring this blue shade in through furniture, textiles, or be bold and paint the walls. Just remember to style with bold accessories so it doesn’t look too wishy washy.

We also love this blue corner with matching artwork. Complementing the baby blue with a stronger blue hue will really pack some punch.
This living room uses dusky blue curtains and textiles to balance the greener walls.
