Blue Crush: The Timeless Colour To Carry Your Interiors

INSPIRATION & TRENDS 31 Jul 2018 Rachael OWT

Blue can evoke calmness, transporting you to the ocean and beyond. It’s one of my favourite interior colours (when used in the right way) and is one of the main interior colours for Autumn 2018. Dusky blue, I have in fact been loving since 2017, see: Dusky Blue, The Colour We’re Obsessing On. So much so I reinvented my wardrobes  (see the before and after) in Barbados Blue paint which you can shop here on Oh What’s This. The colour feels luxurious at the same time as feeling calm, beachy and serene.

The two blue’s to keep your eye out for this A/W are dusky and navy blue. Let’s have a look at some inspiration.

Navy Blue

Dark blues can enhance sleep, like a warm cocoon wrapping you up for the night. Navy blue is a big colour across fashion and interiors for A/W 2018, through wall colour, furniture and accessories.
